If you are pregnant and do not want to have a baby, you can end the pregnancy with an abortion.
Before you can get an abortion, you have to attend a counselling session. The abortion takes place a few days later.
If you decide to continue the pregnancy, you still have 2 options:
- To keep the baby;
- To give the baby up for adoption. Beware of untrustworthy organisations. Consult official adoption agencies only.
In some countries women can give birth to their baby at the hospital without having to give their name or without the hospital having to make the mother’s name known. After giving birth, the mother leaves the hospital. The baby is put up for adoption after a certain time.
ESEspañol – En caso de embarazo no planificado
Si está embarazada y no quiere tener un bebé, puede finalizar el embarazo con un aborto inducido.
Antes de poder realizar un aborto inducido, tiene que asistir a una sesión de asesoramiento. El aborto inducido se lleva a cabo unos días más tarde.
Si decide continuar con el embarazo, sigue teniendo 2 opciones:
- Quedarse con el bebé;
- Entregar el bebé en adopción. Tenga cuidado con las organizaciones poco fiables. Consulte solo con agencias de adopción oficiales.
En algunos países, las mujeres pueden dar a luz a su bebé en el hospital sin tener que dar su nombre o sin que el hospital tenga que saber el nombre de la madre. Después del nacimiento, la madre abandona el hospital. Se entrega al bebé en adopción después de un cierto tiempo.
