Fimozis, sünnet derisindeki daralma için kullanılan tıbbi bir terimdir. Sünnet derisinin penis ucunun arkasına kadar geriye çekilmesi zor ve acı verici ise, sünnet derisi çok dardır. Neredeyse tüm erkek çocuklar sünnet derisindeki daralma ile doğar ve bu durum genellikle çocukluk döneminde iyileşir.

Fimozis, özel merhemlerle ya da bir ameliyatla (sünnet) tedavi edilebilir.

Phimosis is the medical term for a tight foreskin. The foreskin is too tight if it cannot be fully pulled back behind the glans without difficulty and pain. Almost all boys are born with a tight foreskin, and usually it resolves during their childhood.

Phimosis can be treated with special ointments or by surgery (circumcision).
