El glande es la punta sensible del pene. El prepucio envuelve el glande. Puede mover el prepucio hacia adelante y hacia atrás. Algunos hombres están circuncidados. Ya no tienen prepucio, o parte del prepucio.
El meato urinario se encuentra en el glande.
Pene y escroto
El pene tiene 2 funciones:
- Si el pene está blando: la orina puede salir del cuerpo a través del pene;
- Si el pene está duro (erección): el semen puede salir del cuerpo a través del pene;
El semen y la orina no pueden salir del pene al mismo tiempo.
Un hombre que está excitado puede tener una erección. El pene se hincha con sangre. Los hombres con frecuencia tienen el pene duro cuando se levantan por la mañana. Esto no significa que estén excitados.
Durante las relaciones sexuales, el pene duro se introduce en la vagina (penetración).
El escroto contiene los testículos.
Tipos de penes
El tamaño y la forma del pene pueden variar. Algunos hombres tienen el pene grande, otros lo tienen más pequeño. Tanto el tamaño del pene erecto como el del pene no erecto pueden variar de un hombre a otro. Algunos hombres tienen el pene curvado, otros lo tienen más recto. La forma que tenga el pene no es importante para sus funciones o para tener buen sexo.

Penis and scrotum
The penis has 2 functions:
- If the penis is soft: urine can leave the body through the penis;
- If the penis is hard (erection): semen can leave the body through the penis.
Semen and urine cannot leave the penis at the same time.
A man who is aroused can get an erection. The penis swells with blood. Men often have a hard penis when they wake up in the morning. This does not mean they are aroused.
During sexual intercourse, the hard penis enters the vagina (penetration).
Types of penises
The size and shape of the penis can vary. Some men have a large penis, others have a smaller one. Both the size of the erect penis and the non-erect penis can vary from man to man. Some men have a curved penis, others have a more straight one. The way the penis looks is not important for its functions or for good sex.
