Pornography shows sexual behavior in pictures, films, drawings or texts. People can use pornography to arouse themselves sexually. The focus is on sex. Feelings are usually not shown.
Pornography is now easily accessible to many people – for example on the internet. It's okay if you like and use pornography as long as it is not illegal. Some people like pornography, others do not.
Pornography and sex in reality
The content of pornography can vary greatly. It is as diverse as people's sexual preferences.
The sex that is shown in the pornography, though, is often very different from reality. For example:
- Body parts: pornography sometimes shows people with unusually shaped bodies. Women, for example, often have very large breasts and men, very large penises. However, people with other body types are shown as well.
- Sexual practices: pornography can show sexual practices that few couples want to try themselves.
- Sexual behaviour: pornography often gives the impression that women and men can and want to have sex at any time, which, in fact, is not the case.
Reality is often very different than what pornography depicts. When you have sex, you can find out together with your partner what you both like the most.
Too much pornography

Pornography and the law
In Germany it is generally permitted to produce, distribute and watch or look at pornography. But there are exceptions to this. For example, it is forbidden by law to produce, distribute and watch or look at child pornography.

- paraqitjes së praktikave seksuale: Pornografia mund të tregojë praktika seksuale, të cilat duan t’i provojnë vetëm shumë pak çifte vetë.
- paraqitjes së sjelljes seksuale: Pornografia tregon shpesh, se gra dhe burra mund të kenë dhe duan në çdo kohë seks, gjë që në realitet nuk është kështu.
Realiteti është shpesh ndryshe se sa paraqitet në pornografi. Nëse ju keni seks, e gjeni me partneren tuja/partnerin tuaj, çfarë ju pëlqen ju të dyve më shumë.
Tepër shumë pornografi
Të shikuarit e pornografisë mund të bëhet një problem. Për shembull atëherë, nëse ju përdorni shumë shpesh pornografinë dhe keni ndjenjën, që ju e humbni kontrollin mbi këtë dhe vuani nga kjo. Nëse kjo është e drejtë për ju, mund të merrni këtu mbështetje.
Pornografia dhe ligji
Në Gjermani është e lejuar përgjithësisht, të prodhosh, të shpërndash dhe të shohësh pornografi. Por ka përjashtime. Për shembull është e ndaluar me ligj, të prodhosh, të shpërndash dhe të shohësh pornografi fëmijësh.
