المصطلح الطبي لتضيق القلفة هو "فيموزا". تكون القلفة ضيقة جداً عندما يكون سحبها بشكل كامل خلف الحشفة صعباً ومؤلماً. تُولد معظم الأولاد بتضيق القلفة، لكن هذا التضيق يتراجع عادةً خلال مرحلة الطفولة.

يمكن علاج التصاق القلفة، إما باستخدام مراهم خاصة أو بإجراء عملية جراحية (الختان).

Phimosis is the medical term for a tight foreskin. The foreskin is too tight if it cannot be fully pulled back behind the glans without difficulty and pain. Almost all boys are born with a tight foreskin, and usually it resolves during their childhood.

Phimosis can be treated with special ointments or by surgery (circumcision).
